Marketplace Administration
Review knowledge-base and skill submissions, remove approved listings, and configure listing fees and platform commission.
Admin Panel → Marketplace manages knowledge-base and skill submissions for the public marketplace. Administrators review pending content, approve or reject it, remove approved listings, and configure marketplace fees.
Model Zoo base models, upstream connections, capabilities, and public pricing are managed under Admin Panel → Models, not in marketplace review. The current Marketplace panel does not review MCP tools or custom models.
Marketplace tabs
| Tab | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Knowledge bases | Review submissions and manage approved knowledge-base listings |
| Skills | Review individual submitted skill versions |
| Fee settings | Configure listing fees and platform commission for both asset types |
The header reports pending, approved, rejected, and total counts for the active queue. Each queue supports status filtering and text search, and large result sets render progressively.
Submission states
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Not formally submitted |
| Pending | Waiting for administrator review |
| Approved | Approved for marketplace display |
| Rejected | Returned with a review reason for the submitter to address |
Review a knowledge base
Expand a submission to inspect:
- Name, description, cover, and icon.
- Submitter and owning workspace.
- Marketplace price and submission date.
- Co-editor count, adoption count, and last update.
- Previous review time, reviewer, and reason.
Approve
After confirming content and public scope, select Approve. The state becomes Approved and the corresponding submitter and notification data is updated.
Reject
A rejection reason is required. Give actionable feedback, such as missing usage guidance, invalid artwork, or content that should not be public. The submitter can revise and submit again.
Remove from the marketplace
An approved item can be removed. The confirmation dialog collects a reason, after which the item is no longer shown as an approved listing. Do not assume that copies already adopted by other workspaces or existing relationships are deleted with it.
Review a skill version
Skills are reviewed per submitted version. In addition to its name, slug, description, owner, and marketplace media, check:
- Submitted version number and source skill.
- Whether instructions are complete and match the description.
- Unsafe, misleading, or inappropriate-to-publish operations.
- Clear disclosure of required tools, permissions, and external services.
Approve, reject, and removal follow the knowledge-base flow, and rejection requires a reason. Approving a new version does not remove the need to consider compatibility and upgrade impact for older versions.
Fee settings
Administrators configure each asset type independently:
| Type | Listing fee | Platform commission |
|---|---|---|
| Knowledge base | Fixed cent amount used by the submission or listing flow | Percentage of a transaction, constrained to 0–100% |
| Skill | Fixed cent amount used by the submission or listing flow | Percentage of a transaction, constrained to 0–100% |
Saved values apply to subsequent marketplace operations. Before changing rates, define how existing submissions, previous transactions, and public pricing communication will be handled; the settings page does not perform that policy work automatically.
Marketplace review log
Select Audit log to review marketplace-related notifications grouped by date and linked back to available context. This operational notification view is not a substitute for database audit events, the payment ledger, or formal compliance records.
Review checklist
- Confirm that name, description, media, category, and price are complete and consistent.
- Verify that the submitter has the right to publish the content and associated intellectual property.
- Check knowledge bases for personal data, credentials, internal documents, and other sensitive material.
- Check skill instructions and external tools for unauthorized operations.
- Give specific, actionable reasons when rejecting.
- After approval, verify the detail page, pricing, and adoption flow in the public marketplace.
